At the age of nine, I taught myself how to speedread, and I increased my reading speed from 270 words a minute to over 600 words a minute over three months. I taught a fifth grader from Afghanistan the basics of English from zero knowledge of English, and he was able to learn in about 6 months enough to begin talking to his classmates. (read more)
