Amortization of bond premiums and discounts has been a featured topic. The "rule of 72" is my favorite tool for estimating a doubling (i% x years = 72) whether for WACC, NPV, DCF or YTM. (read more)

...I received an associates degree in Engineering from Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC). I also received magna cum laude when I graduated from PVCC. During my time in PVCC, I worked at the tutoring center as a education support assistant. I tutored many college students as well as high school students and even adults returning to college.
