...I took College Algebra and College Trig my junior year of high school, and I passed both classes with high A's. I was the kid that everyone came to when they needed help, so I tutored most of my peers. ...I believe that the biggest problem with students in chemistry is a lack of pertinence in the subject. Students are naturally drawn to that which interests them, and, unfortunately, most of an introductory chemistry class is just laying foundation for more interesting concepts later. One of the ways I address this problem is by showing relevant uses of the concepts being covered. (read more)
