I was a TA for 2 years in general chemistry at the college level. ...I've taught word families and some things work well for some students, but not everyone. I really and truly enjoy working with students and their families to make each individual student successful. Part of the reason I left teaching is that students are expected to fit into the same mold, and that's not true or fair. (read more)
...Additionally, my experience has taught me that sometimes a student is missing one little skill that, if uncovered and worked with, can unlock that student’s ability to move forward. At the end of April 2022, I graduated from the Turing School of Software and Design, with a Certificate in Front-End Engineering. In June I started my first job as a Software Engineer. I love the work, but I want to always have a medium where I am able to engage in my love of teaching. (read more)
