...I prefer a logic based approach rather than force rote memorization. To me patience and communication are the most important parts of teaching. I find that the most effective way to teach is to listen to the students and learn from them, and then build upon their knowledge using familiar methods they are more likely to understand. In addition, I tutored two LSAMP students for the GRE and both were accepted into competitive graduate programs.
