...I was a peer tutor at the UNC Learning Center and helped students with algebra, calculus, python coding, and introductory physics. I co-taught a physics lab on introductory mechanics to around 40 students which gave me experience in a classroom teaching to larger groups. My background is in mathematics and astronomy. I taught myself calculus at 16 and had a full year of trigonometry and differential calculus in senior high school. I published my first scholarly paper at age 14 on the motion of Periodic Comet Biela in the Proceedings of the Southeast Regional Convention of the Astronomical League (Huntsville, Alabama) in August 1971.
