...Calculus itself is not quite as scary as many people think -- a lot of the concepts are easy to "feel" ... since they're about how physical objects move. But you'll do a *lot* of Algebra in a Calculus class ... maybe more than you do in any Algebra class! (Plus some trigonometry.) So it's good to be really familiar with algebra.
