...Then as I go, I like to pull away little by little, letting them do the parts they understand and assisting with the problem areas. It's like teaching a child to ride a bike, you don't get on the bike with them and peddle it, you hold them, then you push them then you are just there in case they fall. ...I have been there myself and having a friend help makes all the difference. My favorite subjects to tutor are SAT Math and the math fundamentals, such as algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
